Meet the Team Behind Moab Swingers

We’re a ride-or-die crew of professional athletes who live for big air, bold moves, and unforgettable experiences. It takes a lot of skill, and a lot of trust to make a 300-foot rope swing safe, and our team brings both from years of going big together. We’re more than just a team, we’re like family.

At the heart of Moab Swingers are co-founders Andy Lewis and Jimmy Peterson, lifelong friends, adventure partners, and veterans of the extreme sports world. They’ve been swinging off cliffs together for over a decade, and this project is their biggest thrill yet.

Andy Lewis owns BASE Jump Moab and is the most experienced tandem BASE jumper in the world, with over 4,000 jumps. He’s performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Madonna, judged international slackline competitions, and continues to travel the globe as a performer and elite athlete.

Jimmy Peterson is the Chief Pilot and owner of Redrock Ballooning, with 13,000 skydives, 2,000 BASE jumps, and 1,000+ hours flying hot air balloons. He’s lived and traveled all over the world, and always comes back to Moab for the next adventure.
